All PFAS Tests Passed: The “Non-Toxic” Assurance Behind Every EVA Floor Mat

2026-09-24
  1. PFAS: The Global New Focus Known as “Forever Chemicals”

PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) are known as “Forever Chemicals” due to their extreme resistance to degradation in both the environment and the human body. In recent years, the EU, multiple U.S. states and leading international brands have successively issued bans or restriction lists, classifying PFAS as a priority controlled substance.

In the past, some foamed and rubber-plastic products used fluorine-containing additives to improve water resistance, stain resistance and surface feel. Today, however, such additives are being comprehensively phased out. For Floor Mats that are in daily skin contact with people — even stepped and crawled on barefoot by children — whether they contain PFAS has become one of the top safety concerns for overseas buyers and end consumers. No matter how low the price, a fluorine-containing mat risks being completely rejected by the market.

  1. Our Proactive Action: Full Mats Sent for the Most Comprehensive PFAS Assessment

As a manufacturer specializing in interlocking EVA floor mats, Guangxi Hongle took the initiative to conduct voluntary testing. We sent finished foam floor mats to an authoritative third-party testing laboratory. In accordance with EN 14583:2016, and using the dual mass spectrometry technology of LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS, we screened for as many as 375 PFAS substances in one test.

The screening covers common and restricted categories including PFOS, PFOA, PFHxA, PFBS, PFHxS, various fluoropolymers and fluorine-containing processing aids, with a method detection limit as low as 0.025 mg/kg (25 ppb).

Notably, many manufacturers only test individually for 2–3 items such as PFOA and PFOS. We insist on covering all 375 substances in one test because PFAS is a large “family” — testing just a handful is far from sufficient to prove a product is truly fluorine-free.

  1. Test Results: All Substances Not Detected, Verdict PASS

Report No. DPHTL2609143043E (issued September 2026) shows that all 375 PFAS substances are Not Detected (N.D.), with an overall conclusion of PASS. This means that under the current most stringent screening standards, no prohibited per- and polyfluoroalkyl compounds were detected in our Eva Floor Mats.

  1. This Report Means Far More Than Just a Certificate

It protects end-user health

Floor mats are an intimate contact surface for babies crawling, family exercise and gym training. “PFAS Not Detected” means our products can be safely used in household, maternity and children’s scenarios.

It positions our Eva Mats ahead of the global “PFAS ban” wave

From EU REACH regulations to brands’ green procurement lists worldwide, PFAS compliance is becoming a market access threshold. A test report covering 375 substances with ppb-level sensitivity is powerful evidence for our products to respond to customs spot checks, brand factory audits and consumer inquiries.

“PFAS-Free” is becoming a core purchasing driver for overseas consumers

Our report turns this green claim into verifiable, auditable proof, rather than an empty marketing slogan.

Ultimately, this qualified certification validates our long-standing commitment to materials. Screening all 375 trace substances one by one demonstrates Honloy EVA mat manufacturer's insistence on “non-toxic, eco-friendly and reliable” — and this is the confidence that underpins our ongoing service to global customers.

Following our packaging materials passing EU PPWR heavy metal testing, our finished floor mats have once again responded to market expectations for safety and environmental protection with “all items not detected”. Behind the words “test passed” lies long-term refinement of materials, processes and supply chains.
